The term "this website" applies to the domain www.socratease.in, all its sub-domains, and webpages hosted therein. If you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our website. The term Socratease or "us" or "we" refers to the owners of the website. The term "you" refers to the user or viewer of the website.

Terms of Use

The website is an online learning platform. It lists modules that cover different topics, both curricular as well as extra-curricular. Users learn concepts related to these topics by interacting with the contents of the modules, textual as well as visual.


By content, we mean the text contained in the webpages, as well as the visual elements—images, animations and videos. Unless otherwise mentioned, all content hosted on the website is created and owned by Socratease. No use or re-use of this content, for commerical or non-commercial purposes, with or without modification is allowed without our explicit, written consent. Any violation of this policy will make the violator liable for prosecution. This policy applies not only for exact reproduction of the material, but, even if the content is reproduced with cosmetic changes.

Socratease's content is unique in that it flows from one screen to another, depending on the user's response. The logic that decides the flow is also the intellectual property of Socratease, and copying the flow with even minor changes to the contents themselves shall also constitute a violation of our Terms and Conditions.


Though we take utmost care in developing the content, we make no guarantee to its absolute accuracy. Indeed, we request you to communicate with us if you do find inaccuracies, whether minor ones like typos, or major ones that are conceptual in nature.

We shall strive to keep the website running without any glitches. But, if any website feature does becomes non-functional due to any reason, we request you to notify us immediately.

We absolve ourselves of all responsibilities arising out of inaccurate content/unavailability of any website feature, for both free and paid users. If the website remains inaccessible for extended periods of time, paid users shall be entitled to a compensation that shall be arrived at after consultation with such users.

Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy governs the kind of information that we collect and how we store and disseminate them. The term "Personally Identifiable Information" (PII) refers to information that can be used to distinguish or trace an individual's identity. Such information can include, amongst other things, details such as the name, phone number, school information, date-of-birth and social media accounts. Data provided by you to us, including PII, via the use of the website are logged on our servers. We do not sell or rent PII to anyone. Such data are accessible to our employees and our contractors, and they are bound by the terms of the Privacy Policy too.

Both PII and usage data are made available to the "superior entity", if such an entity exists. For a student, the superior entity includes the teacher and the parent, and their superior entities. For the teacher, the superior entity includes the principal.

Socratease uses usage data to determine the efficiency of its own methods. In particular, we analyse these data to build a better product and more refined content. Occasionally, we may collaborate with external entities to further analyse the efficacy of this content. In all such cases, we shall ensure that the PII associated with the usage data has been removed.

We shall not release PII or usage data to any other agent or party except as required to do so by law.

We may collect non-PII data that results from your usage of the website, via cookies or otherwise. Further, we may use this data to customise the content that appears on the website to make it, in our judgment, more relevant to the particular machine logging on to the website, or the IP address from which a user is logging on to the website.


Any dispute arising out of the use of this website, or of the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, shall be resolved via laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations subject to the jurisdiction of Bangalore Courts only.
