Hurrah, we come to the end of the module! We talked about Smallpox and Rinderpest in the Introduction. These are diseases that have been eradicated.

There are other diseases caused by microbes that we are trying to eradicate. For example, Polio has been eradicated in India, though it still exists in other countries.

Many individuals and organisations have been trying to come up with ways of eradicating Malaria. Hopefully, this module has given you an understanding of how microbes help spread these diseases.
