Hurrah, we come to the end of the module! We started by wondering about how plants get water. As we saw in the module, water enters a plant through its roots.

Root pressure is created by a difference in the concentration of ions inside and outside the roots. Water flows into the plant to balance this pressure.

Also, plants lose water from their leaves through transpiration. Water also enters plants to make up for this lost water.
