Hurrah, we come to the end of the module! We started by asking why we cannot tickle ourselves. The reason is that, our brains are very smart!

We learnt about the Cerebellum in the module. The Cerebellum knows when we are about to tickle ourselves. So, it tells other parts of the brain that we are about to tickle ourselves.

In response to this, the other parts of the brain that usually make you laugh when you are tickled, do not respond. So, even though we try to tickle ourselves, it is of no use!
