We know that our galaxy is called the Milky Way. Every star that you see in the night sky is in the Milky Way.

The other galaxies are so far away that we cannot see individual stars with our naked eye. To see individual stars from other galaxies, we will need a telescope.

Though we have taken photographs of other galaxies that are very far away, we do not have a single photo of our Milky Way. Why is that? We will learn this at the end of the module!
