Hurrah, we come to the end of the module! We started by mentioning that water animals are twice as likely as land animals to become extinct. We wondered why that was the case.

In this module, we have seen how destructive water pollution can be. Also, because many water animals are cold-blooded, they cannot adapt to a change in water temperature as easily as warm-blooded land animals can.

Even though we focus a lot on how pollution is bad for humans, we should also focus on how it is affecting animals and plants that we cannot see!
