Now, let's discuss what is called the First Equation of Motion (1st EOM). There are three equations of motion (EOMs) that we will be using very frequently. The 1st EOM is

\(v = u + a*t\)

Here, \(v\) is the final velocity, \(u\) is the initial velocity, \(a\) is the acceleration and \(t\) is the time. So, anytime an object is moving with constant acceleration, if you know 3 of the 4 variables in the 1st EOM, you can calculate the 4th variable.
