Awesome! According to Bohr, the electrons are a fixed distance from the centre, and are moving in a circular orbit. This is exactly how a merry-go-round works.
Remember we had said that if an electron goes in an orbit around the proton, it loses energy and would crash into the proton. Bohr said that if electrons are in these special orbits, they won't lose energy. So, the atom was stable.

Bohr just assumed that the energy won't be lost. He didn't explain why! A few decades later, scientists discovered Quantum Mechanics which explained why electrons don't lose energy in these orbits.
